Cílem mé bakalářské práce je seznámit čtenáře s institucí Veřejného ochránce práv. V teoretické části se zabývám kontrolou veřejné správy a jejím členěním. Zaměřuji se zde také na činnost, funkce VOP i důvody vzniku ombudsmanské instituce v ČR. V praktické části se věnuji zejména působnosti a právnímu postavení VOP. Současně je tato část práce věnována analýze činnosti VOP v oblasti celní a daňové problematiky. A obsahuje i náměty ke zlepšení existující situace. |

The aim of my thesis is to make readers acquainted with the institution of the public defen-der of rights. In the theoretical part I am dwelling on the oversight of the public sector and its division. I am focusing on the activity, functions of the public defender of rights and reasons of the formation of the ombudsman institution in the Czech republic. In the practi-cal part I am dealing with the jurisdiction and legal status of the public defender of rights. At the same time the thesis is dedicated to activity anylysis of the public defender as far as the customs and tax problem is concerned. Suggestions for improvement of the present situation are also included. |
