dc.description.abstract	V předložené bakalářské práci se zabývám negativními postoji současné společnosti vůči stáří a starým lidem. V teoretické části popisuji jednotlivé příznaky stáří, postoje společnosti ke stáří a starým lidem a zaměřuji se na příčiny diskriminace stáří a starých lidí - na tzv. ageismus. Jsou definovány pojmy postoje, ageismus a diskriminace. Praktická část je zaměřena na zjištění skutečných postojů mladých lidí vůči stáří a starým lidem jako finální etapě lidského života. Pro zjištění je zvolen kvantitativní výzkum prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, které bylo určeno studentům 3. ročníků středních škol ve Vsetíně.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	In the attached bachelor work I deal with the negative attitudes in present-day society towards the elderly and old people. In the theoretical part I describe the specific charackteristics of the elderly, the attitude of society towards the elderly and old people and I focus on the causes of discrimination against the elderly and old people - so-called ageism. There are defined terms for this attitude, ageism and discrimination. The practical part is focussed on the findings of the real attitudes of young people towards the elderly and aged in the final stage of human life. For the findings a quantitative research by means of a questionnaire was chosen, which was aimed at 3rd. year students od secondary schools in Vsetín.	en
