Disertační práce se zabývá problematikou reálných opcí v souvislosti s aplikací tohoto přístupu do investičního rozhodování v oblasti vyspělých výrobních technologií (AMT). K cílům práce náleží objasnění otázky využitelnosti konceptu reálných opcí v procesu hodnocení efektivnosti investic, kdy jedna z jejich hlavních vlastností je flexibilita, ovlivňující velkou měrou postoj k ocenění výkonnosti těchto investic, a to zejména v situaci zvýšené nejistoty. Výsledkem disertační práce je souhrnná metodika pro řízení a hodnocení efektivnosti AMT investic s využitím reálných opcí, jakož to nástroje vhodného pro kvantifikaci hodnoty flexibility těchto investic. Součástí práce je vypracování matematicko-analytického modelu stanovení celkové volatility podkladových investic pro podporu přesného stanovení hodnoty reálných opcí. V rámci souhrnné metodiky pro hodnocení efektivnosti AMT investic je také vytvořen model pro sebehodnocení firmy, který má za úkol identifikovat a kvantifikovat potenciál firmy v rámci implementace reálných opcí do systému řízení. |

The doctoral thesis deals with the topic of real options in relation to the application of this approach to investment decisions in the field of advanced manufacturing technologies. To the objectives of the thesis belongs the clarification of issues related to the applicability of the real options in the process of evaluating the effectiveness of investments, main feature of which is their flexibility, that largely affects the approach of performance measurement of these investments and in particular in a situation of increased uncertainty. The main result of the Doctoral thesis is a summary procedure and methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of AMT investments using real options as a suitable tool for the quantification of flexibility value of these investments, including the support of developed mathematical and analytical model for determining the overall volatility of the underlying investments, to support accurate determination of the real option value. As a part of methodology for AMT investments evaluation, self-evaluation model is presented, which aims to identify and quantify firms' potential in field of real option implementation and usage within management system. |
