Cílem této bakalářské práce je objasnění pojmů používaných pro připojení rozlehlých počítačových sítí. V práci jsou velmi stručně představeny hlavní charakteristiky WAN, hierarchický model sítě, terminologie WAN. Dále jsou představeny koncepty přepínání WAN, Point-to-Point Protocol a teleworker služby. Závěr teoretické části je zaměřený na řešení síťových problémů včetně uvedení metod a nástrojů pro odstraňování chyb. Praktickou část práce tvoří český manuál k výuce kurzu Cisco CCNA4 Exloration: Připojení k WAN a prezentace v PowerPointu k výukovým účelům. |

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the terms used to connect large networks. It presents the main characteristics of the WAN, the hierarchical network model and WAN terminology. Concepts of switching WAN, Point-to-Point Protocol and services for teleworkers would be explained as well. The conclusion of theoretical part focuses on solving networking issues, including the methods and tools for debugging. The practical part contains the czech manual for teaching the course Cisco CCNA4 Exloration: WAN Connectivity and PowerPoint presentation for teaching purposes. |
