dc.description.abstract	Význam informačních a komunikačních technologií pro fungování firem se stále zvětšuje. V období globalizace obchodu s větší mírou spolupráce, dynamičnosti a vzájemné integrace je jejich význam strategický. Se vzrůstající penetrací informačních technologií rostou také s nimi spojené celkové náklady. Uvedené skutečnosti přináší nový pohled a význam přiměřených nákladů na informační technologie a výkonnost firemních IT oddělení. Snižování nákladů pro společnosti nabývá aktuálně stále většího významu a je jedním z klíčových faktorů konkurenceschopnosti a ekonomické úspěšnosti společnosti. V odvětvích s vysokou mírou závislosti na informačních technologiích a nízkou marží je zájem managementu o informační technologie spojený nejenom s ohrožením prosperity a konkurenceschopnosti, ale v krajním případě také vlastní existence podniku. Hlavním cílem této disertační práce je na základě teoretického a terénního výzkumu a praktických zkušeností identifikovat a analyzovat vliv procesního řízení v IT na snižování nákladů a ziskovost firem.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The importance of information and communication technologies for the operation of companies is increasing. In the globalization of trade, a greater degree of cooperation, dynamism and integration became their importance strategic. With the increasing penetration of information technology to grow the associated total costs. That fact offers a new perspective and the importance of adequate expenditure on information technology and performance of corporate IT departments. Reducing costs for the current becomes increasingly larger role and is one of the key factors of competitiveness and economic success of the company. In sectors with a high level of dependence on information technology and low profit margin is management of information technology not only associated with threats to the prosperity and competitiveness, but in extreme cases also by the existence of the company. The main objective of this thesis is based on theoretical and field research and practical experience to identify and analyze the impact of process management in IT to reduce costs and profitability of companies.	en
