dc.description.abstract	Cílem této diplomové práce je migrace serverového operačního systému Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition na Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition za použití virtualizace. Teoretická část porovnává nové serverové a klientské operační systémy s těmi starými. Dále pak charakterizuje základní role a služby operačního systému Windows Server 2012 R2 a popisuje výhody softwarového auditu. Na závěr probírá jednotlivé migrační scénáře. Praktická část sestavuje projektovou dokumentaci od swot analýzy po časový harmonogram nasazení nových systémů, analyzuje stávající síťové prostředí a provádí sw audit. Dále pak popisuje veškeré kroky od instalace nového serveru až po úplné odstavení toho starého. V závěru je hodnocen celkový přínos firmě po realizaci daného řešení.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The point of this thesis is the migration server operating system Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition with use of virtualization technologies. The theoretical part compares the new server and client operating systems with the old ones. Follow-up to characterize the fundamental role and service operating system Windows Server 2012 R2 and describes the benefits of software audit. The conclusion discusses different migration scenarios. The practical part consists of project documentation from swot analysis to a timetable for the deployment of new systems, analyzes the current network environment and performs sw audit. It describes all the steps of installing a new server to a complete shutdown of the old. In conclusion the overall benefit for company is evaluated after implementation of this solutions.
