dc.description.abstract	Tato práce je zaměřena na jednu vzácnou etapu ontogeneze zvanou stáří. Popisuje její problematiku, vymezuje, definuje a charakterizuje pojmy s ní spjaté. Ústředním bodem jsou tak představitelé tohoto životního období tj. senioři. Práce je představuje ve svých třech částech. První se věnuje jejich vymezením, druhá pojednává o politice kvalitního stárnutí a poslední poukazuje na problémy seniorů ve společnosti.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis focuses on the stage of ontogeny commonly referred to as old age. It describes its origin, and defines and characterises terms which are essential for this topic. Full attention is therefore drawn to representatives of this period of our life, that is, to senior citizens. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part concentrates on the definition of senior citizens, the second part is devoted to the politics of getting old with dignity and the last part emphasises difficulties which elderly people encounter in today's society.
