dc.description.abstract	Cílem mé bakalářské práce bude objasnit fenomén stáří a popsat změny, které s sebou tento fenomén přináší. Ve své práci se zaměřím především na změny v kvalitě života seniorů a na faktory, které tyto změny podněcují. V praktické části se pokusím objasnit důvody, které přivádí seniory ke studiu, a jak může kvalitu života seniorů ovlivnit účast na vzdělávání na Univerzitě třetího věku. Dále se pokusím zjistit, jak senioři mohou nabyté informace zhodnotit v dalším životě. Výzkum bude realizován mezi seniory na Mendelově univerzitě v Brně. V závěru práce bude věnován prostor k posouzení případného vlivu sociální pedagogiky na postavení seniorů ve společnosti.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis deals with the issue of the phenomenon of old age and it describes its evident change. The topic of my thesis is mostly focused on the quality life changes of seniors and also on the main factors that stimulate those changes. In the practical part of my thesis there will be clarified some reasons which bring the seniors to the studies and how the participation of seniors at the University of the Third Age may influence their life quality. Furthermore, I will try to find out how the seniors may make good use of gained information in their following life. The survey will be performed among seniors at the Mendel University in Brno. The final part of my thesis deals with the potential influence of social pedagogy on senior's social status in the society.
