dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce zjišťuje informovanost laické veřejnosti o práci všeobecné sestry. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí: teoretické a praktické. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definici sestry, vývoj ošetřovatelství, vzdělávání sester, dále je pozornost věnována kompetencím sester, komunikaci a etice v ošetřovatelství. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou získaných dat z dotazníkového šetření, doplňující meto-dou je rozhovor. V závěru praktické části je srovnání s jinými výzkumnými pracemi. Toto šetření zjišťuje informovanost veřejnosti o profesi všeobecné sestry.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This bachelor thesis detects the laic public about the work of nurses. The work consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of nurses, development of nursing, nursing education, further attention is paid to the competencies of nurses, communication and ethics in nursing. The practic part describes the analysis of obtained data from questionnaire examination, supplementary method is to interview.In conclusion is compared with other research works. This examination finds out the public informedness about the profession of a nurse.
