dc.description.abstract	V mojej diplomovej práci som sa venoval porovnaniu fyzikálno-mechanických, chemických a hygienických vlastností usní zo Slovenska a Indie. Vzorky som podrobil početným skúškam, napr. pevnosti v ťahu, pevnosti v natrhnutí, zistenie pH, odolnosti povrchovej úpravy ai., ktoré usne otestovali v širokej škále vlastností a na základe výsledkov som ich v závere porovnával medzi sebou. Vzorky som tiež hodnotil subjektívne na nemerateľné vlastnosti. V teoretickej časti som opísal vlastnosti usní, ich rozdelenie a metódy kontroly kvality. Všetky metódy, ktorými som usne testoval a ktoré sú v súlade s normami sú popísané v experimentálnej časti.

dc.description.abstract-translated	In my master thesis I compared physico-mechanical, chemical a hygienic properties of leather from Slovakia and India. Wide range of physical and chemical leather tests, for example rubfastness, pH acidity, tear strength etc. were performed to gain result for final comparison. Test samples were also studied by visual and touch assessment and the results were compared. In theory I described properties of leather and quality control methods. All test that were performed and are identical with standards, are described in experimental part.
