dc.description.abstract	Tato bakalářská práce vypovídá o využití geografických informačních systému v ochraně obyvatelstva. V teoretické části jsou objasněné pojmy "ochrana obyvatelstva, geografický informační systém a jeho využití". V praktické části se na zvoleném území Uherské Hradiště aplikovala metoda mapování rizik, při níž se k vizualizaci map využil softwarový nástroj QGIS. Po sestavení jednotlivých map nebezpečí a zranitelnosti se vytvořila mapa rizik. Díky této mapě se vyhodnotily některé části města jako rizikové. Po té se k samému závěru zhodnotila využitelnost dané metody a GIS pro ochranu obyvatelstva.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This bachelor thesis deals with usage of geographical information systems in population protection. Theoretical part focuses on explanation of terms "population protection, geo-graphical information system and its usage". In practical part on selected area of Uherské Hradiště the risk mapping method was used, QGIS software tool was used for map visuali-sation. The risks map was created after compilation of individual maps and therefore this map, some part of the cite were evaluated as risky. At the end the usability of the method and GIS for poplation protection was evaluated.
