dc.description.abstract	Cieľom diplomovej práce bolo navrhnúť a vytvoriť mobilnú aplikáciu pre platformu Android, ktorá bude schopná na pozadí komunikovať so serverom a poskytovať užívateľovi dáta na základe aktuálnej polohy. V rámci práce boli popísané a vybrané najvhodnejšie metódy pre realizáciu aplikácie. Práca tiež popisuje programové riešenie pre samotnú funkčnosť zariadenia. Výsledkom diplomovej práce je prototyp aplikácie, ktorý spĺňa zadané podmienky.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of this thesis is to design and create a mobile application for the Android platform, which will be able communicate with the server in the background and provide their users data based on their current location. In the thesis have been described and chosen the most suitable methods for the implementation of the application. Thesis also describes a program solution for the functionality of device. The outcome of the thesis is a prototype of the application, which meets the specified requirements.
