dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem vhodné preventivní obuvi u seniorů s diabetes mellitus. V teoretické části je popsána problematika onemocnění diabetes mellitus, včetně komplikací a jeho specifik u seniorské populace, dále je nastíněna oblast edukace o diabetické obuvi a správné péči o nohy. Praktická část mapuje pomocí řízeného strukturovaného rozhovoru u seniorů s diabetes mellitus jejich znalosti o preventivní obuvi v prevenci syndromu diabetické nohy a v rámci přímého nestandardizovaného pozorování zjišťuje stav stávající obuvi u této skupiny respondentů. Součástí práce je zpracování edukačního materiálu o preventivní diabetické obuvi.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis deals with the problems of suitable preventive shoes for seniors with diabetes mellitus. In the theoretical part are described the diabetes mellitus problems, including the complications and its specifics for seniors. Furthermore, it concentrates on the area of education about diabetic footwear and proper foot care. The practical part maps, through controlled structured interviews, the knowledge of preventive footwear among seniors with diabetes mellitus in the prevention of diabetic foot syndrome and in the framework of direct non-standardized observation, assesses the status of existing footwear in this group of respondents. Part of the thesis is a formation of educational material about preventive diabetic footwear.
