dc.description.abstract	Cílem této bakalářské práce je prozkoumat jazyk vybraných článků amerických a britských novin s tématikou Covid-19. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí. Teoretická část popisuje žurnalismus samotný, jeho rozdělení, prvky, jež jsou typické pro novinový článek a popis vybraných novin. Praktická část se zabývá analýzou vybraných článků, jejich jazykové a výrazové prvky, tyto poznatky jsou posléze porovnány pomocí komparativní analýzy.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse the selected British and American articles with the Covid-19 thematic. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The theoretical part describes journalism and its division, aspects that are typical for newspaper articles, and the description of the selected newspapers. The practical part deals with the analysis of each article, these findings are then compared to each other through a comparative analysis.
