Diplomová práce obšírně prozkoumává proces tvorby krátkého animovaného filmu Skvělý krasavec aneb Žít nudný, nespokojený a lhostejný život bez cíle a bez naděje, zachycující životní etapu outsiderství, sebelítosti a fyzického i duševního úpadku autorčina staršího bratra. Jejím cílem je poskytnout vyčerpávající a chaotický vhled nejen do východisek a průběhu práce na filmu, ale také do problematiky mnoha témat a odboček s tímto dílem spojených - zejména trapnosti, amatérismu, žánrové nejasnosti, plešatosti atd. Svojí strukturou odráží košatou, střípkovitou a subjektivní povahu snímku, o němž pojednává. |

The thesis extensively examines the process of creation of a short animated film The Fabulous Good-looker or: Living a Boring, Unsatisfying and Indifferent Life without Goal and without Hope, capturing the life stage of outsiders, self-pity and physical and mental decline of the author's older brother. Its aim is to provide an exhaustive and chaotic insight not only into the starting points and the course of work on the film, but also into the issues of many topics and diversions associated with this work - especially awkwardness, amateurism, genre ambiguity, baldness, etc. Its structure reflects the extensive, fragmented and subjective character of the mentioned piece. |
