dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce se zabývá knihou z mnoha úhlů pohledu. Autorka práce se tomuto médiu věnuje na základě celoživotní fascinace knihou, kterou byla obklopována již od dětství. Historie knihy je zde upozaděná, práce se více zaměřuje na sociální význam knihy, to, co pro lidi znamená a jakým způsobem knihy vnímají jednotlivé generace. Velice důležitou součástí diplomové práce je pojetí knihy v moderním světě a její aktuální důležitost. Na základě rozhovorů autorka práce vyhodnotila, co kniha znamená pro moderní generaci a odborníky, kteří se na tvorbě knih podílí. Informace zjištěné v teoretické práci pomohly k úspěšnému vytvoření knihy na obdobné téma, tedy "kniha předmětem fascinace". Autorka teoretické práce je zároveň tvůrkyní samotné knihy a jejího designu.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis deals with the book from many points of view. The author of the thesis devotes herself to this medium based on her lifelong fascination with books, which she has been surrounded by since childhood. The history of the book is left behind here, the work focuses more on the social significance of the book, what it means to people and how books are perceived by individual generations. A very important part of the thesis is the concept of the book in the modern world and its current importance. Based on the interviews, the author of the thesis evaluated what the book means to the modern generation and the experts who participate in the creation of books. The information found in the theoretical work helped to successfully create a book on a similar topic, i.e. "a book the subject of fascination". The author of the theoretical work is also the creator of the book itself and its design.
