dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na koncept smart city a jeho implementaci u vybraných municipalit Zlínského kraje. Teoretická část popisuje regionální a udržitelný rozvoj, definuje a objasňuje význam smart city a zkoumá jeho aplikaci v České republice. V praktické části jsou analyzovány postupy vybraných měst ve Zlínském kraji a provedeny rozhovory s jejich zástupci. Na závěr jsou navržena opatření pro zlepšení přístupu měst k implementaci konceptu smart city.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis focuses on the concept of smart city and its implementation in the municipalities of the Zlín Region. The theoretical part describes regional and sustainable development, defines and clarifies the importance of smart city, and examines its application in the Czech Republic. In the practical part, the procedures of selected cities in the Zlín Region are analysed and interviews with their representatives are conducted. Finally, measures are proposed to improve the approach of cities to the implementation of the smart city concept.
