dc.description.abstract	Hlavním tématem diplomové práce je využití cliffhangeru v seriálu. Teoretická část je věnována obecně seriálům, jejich dramaturgii a rozdělení podle typů seriality. Druhá kapitola obsahuje popis cliffhangeru, jeho stručnou historii a dělení. Pomocí těchto pojmů jsou v analytické části rozebrány dva vybrané evropské seriály z produkce Netflix, které vyšly v roce 2017. Využitím komparační analýzy jsou daná díla porovnána a na základě výsledků jsou určeny základní prvky pro práci s cliffhangerem. Poslední, projektovou část práce tvoří seriál přestříhaný z filmové série, jehož cliffhangery jsou vytvořeny na základě vyzkoumaných prostředků.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The main topic of the master's thesis is the use of cliffhangers in series. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on series in general, their dramaturgy and their sorting according to types of seriality. Then, in the second chapter, it describes the cliffhanger, its brief history and divisions. Using these concepts, the analytical part discusses two selected European Netflix series released in 2017. Using comparative analysis, the series are compared and the results are used to identify the basic elements for working with cliffhangers. The last project part of the thesis consists of a series edited from the film series, whose cliffhangers are created based on the tested concepts.
