V dnešní době se sestry dostávají do pozice a role, kdy se čím dál více mohou setkat při poskytování péče s pacienty a klienty z různého kulturního prostředí. Ošetřovatelství se stává flexibilní a jeho vývoj směřuje kupředu. K tomu, aby se sestry naučily a respektovaly potřeby pacientů a klientů různých etnik, musí mít samy o tuto problematiku zájem. Pojem transkulturní a multikulturní ošetřovatelství tudíž patří k neodmyslitelné součásti ošetřovatelství jako takového. V teoretické části vysvětluji problematiku multikulturního ošetřovatelství se zaměřením na odlišnosti v péči o pacienty a klienty arabské kultury. V praktické části analyzuji výsledky výzkumného šetření. |

Nowadays, nurses are often encountered with situations in which they meet patients and clients of various cultural backgrounds. Nursering is increasingly getting flexible and its progress is remarkable. To learn and respect patients needs, nurses should have adequate knowledge and genuine interest in that area. An issue of multiculturalism is thus an inherent part of nursering. In the theoretical part, I explain the basic institutions of multicultural nursering with a special focus on patients from Arabic culture with elements of islamic religion. The practical part is dedicated to an analysis of my theoretical enquiry. |
