This work summarises the importance of polymers for the production of modified bitumens for their use in road construction. It presents a brief global view from the input materials,fabrication, properties and applications to the new European normalisation and test methods for modified binders. The advantages of the properties of modified bitumens are demonstrated on specific modified bitumens produced by the company Eurovia CS belonging the group Vinci. |
