Cílem integrace romské minority do společnosti je dosáhnout bezkonfliktního soužití mezi romskými komunitami a ostatní společností. Podporovat romskou integraci je třeba přesvědčováním Romů o nutnosti vzdělání a nutnosti přizpůsobit se podmínkám dnešní doby, kdy samy nesou zodpovědnost za sebe a své rodiny. Motivovat je pro vlastní snahy, dávat jim naději v lepší budoucnost. Je třeba rovněž přesvědčovat většinovou společnost, že romská menšina je menšinou, která potřebuje pomoci. Že vynaložené úsilí, trpělivost a velkorysost se v dalších letech projeví jako dobrá investice. |

The aim of the integration of the Roma minority into society is to achieve a conflict-free co-existence between Roma communitites and rest of society. It tis necessary to support Roma integration by convicing the Roma about the need for education and the necessity to adapt to the conditions of today, when they are held responsible for themselves and their families. It is necessary to motivate them to show their own initiative and to give them hope of a better future. It is also necessary to convice the majority society about the fact that the Roma minority is one that needs help, and that the effort, patience and generosity spent will prove to be a good investment in the years to come. |
