Práce objasňuje význam termínu filantropie a popisuje její historický vývoj především na našem území. Dále se zabývá současným pojetím a projevy filantropie v české populaci. Velká část je také věnována hledání příčin altruistického chování šlověka. V praktické části je prezentováno dotazníkové šetření zjišťující motivaci, způsoby, frekvenci a další faktory dobročinnosti s ohledem na pohlaví, věk a vzdělání respondentů. Dále je popisován fundraising - obor, který využívá filantropii k podpoře činnosti neziskových organizací. Druhé dotazníkové šetření se pokouší najít odpověď na otázku jaký význam má filantropie a její aktivní využití pro neziskové organizace poskytující sociální služby. V závěru práce je uvedena případová studie konkrétní neziskové organizace využívající aktivní a systematický fundraising pro kofinancování vlastní činnosti. |

This thesis clarifies the term ?philanthropy? and describes its emergence, particularly on our territory, explores its contemporary meaning and the manifestations of philanthropy among the Czech population. Furthermore, it also devotes much of space to seeking the cause of altruistic behaviour in humans. The practical part of the thesis presents a survey identifying the motivation, ways, frequency and other factors of beneficence with reference to gender, age and education of respondents. Moreover it describes a fundraising ? the sphere that takes advantage of the philanthropy for subsidizing the non-profit-making organizations. Second survey tries to find an answer to the question what significance the philanthropy has for the non-profit-making organizations and for their active use of it. This thesis is concluded by a case study of a concrete non-profit-making organization that exploits active and systematic fundraising for co-financing its activity. |
