dc.description.abstract	Stěžejním tématem diplomové práce je profesní motivace policistů Policie České republiky. Je zde objasněn pojem motivace a jsou popsány motivující a demotivující faktory působící na zaměstnance. Součástí je dále prezentace Policie České republiky, popis řízení a struktury tohoto bezpečnostního sboru, úkoly, které musí policisté plnit, nároky, jež jsou na ně kladeny a rizika, která tato profese obnáší. Práce se rovněž věnuje policejnímu školství a vzdělávání, odměňování policistů a jejich institucionálnímu zabezpečení. Dále se zabývá okolnostmi, ovlivňujícími motivaci sloužících policistů a důvody ukončení služebního poměru. Práce může být využita v manažerské praxi ve sféře pozitivního ovlivňování pracovní motivace příslušníků Policie České republiky a v oblasti personálního řízení v rámci náboru nových policistů.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The main topic of the thesis is the professional motivation of police officers Police of the Czech Republic. The paper clarifies the motivation and describes motivating and demotivating factors affecting the employee. Part of this work is the presentation of the Police of the Czech Republic, a description of the management and structure of the security forces, the tasks that police officers must meet, the demands that are placed on them and the risks that this profession entails. The work focuses on police education and training, remuneration of police officers and their institutional security. It also deals with the circumstances that affect the motivation of serving police officers and the reasons for termination of service. The work can be used in managerial practice in the sphere of positive influence on work motivation of the Police of the Czech Republic and in the field of personnel management in the recruitment of new police officers.
