Cílem této bakalárské práce je najít rozdíly ve dvou vydáních stejného románu od amerického spisovatele Davida Leavitta, While England Sleeps (1993). David Leavitt byl obvinen z plagiátorství anglickým básníkem Stephenem Spenderem a následkem toho muselo být dílo prepsáno a znovu vydáno (1995). Nejprve se práce zabývá obema autory a jejich díly. Následne je popsán celý tento prípad a plagiátorství obecne. Poté se práce zameruje na rozdíly v obou dílech a zhodnocení celé situace. |

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to find the differences between two editions of one novel by the American writer David Leavitt While England Sleeps (1993). David Leavitt was accused of plagiarism by an English poet Stephen Spender, and as a result this novel had to be rewritten and republished in 1995. First, the work deals with both authors and their works. Subsequently, there is described the whole case and plagiarism in general. Afterwards, the work focuses on the differences between the two editions and the evaluation of the whole situation |
