Tato bakalářská práce zachycuje vývoj a význam hotelového průmyslu ve společnosti. První část zachycuje historický vývoj a důležité mezníky v oblasti ubytování a pohostinství. Druhá část je zaměřena na vývoj hotelového průmyslu od počátku 20. století, zachycuje změny potřeb ve společnosti, vývoj hotelových služeb, vznik hotelových řetězců a hotelových skupin. Třetí a čtvrtá část je zaměřena na vývoj a hodnocení hotelových služeb v Evropě a v České Republice. Závěr práce je ukazatelem, že vývoj hotelového průmyslu je závislý na aktuálních potřebách společnosti, které se odrážejí na úrovni poskytovaných služeb. |

This thesis addresses the development and importance of the hotel industry in society. The first part shows the historical development and important milestones in the accommodation and hospitality. The second part focuses on the development of hotel industry since the early 20th century, captures the changing needs of society, the development of hotel services, hotel chains and the emergence of hotel groups. The third and fourth part focuses on the development and evaluation of hotel services in Europe and the Czech Republic. The conclusion is an indication that the development of hotel industry is dependent on the actual needs of society, which is reflected at the level of service provided. |
