dc.description.abstract	Finanční analýza patří k nejdůležitějším nástrojům finančního řízení. V této práci jsou popsány teoretické aspekty finanční analýzy, které jsou následně aplikovány na firmě Stavební společnost Kněždub spol s r.o. Zkoumaná společnost se řadí do kategorie středních firem a její hlavní činností je především výstavba pozemních a inženýrských staveb. Hlavním cílem práce je hodnocení činnosti firmy z hlediska výpočtu jednotlivých ekonomických ukazatelů a návrh na zlepšení. V analýze jsou použity data společnosti za posledních pět let a výsledné hodnoty jsou porovnány se vzorkem srovnatelných firem v odvětví.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	Financial analysis is one of the most important instruments of financial management. This work describes theoretical aspects of financial analysis, which are subsequently applied to Stavební společnost Kněždub spol. s.r.o. The company belongs to a category of medium size firms. Its main activities are structural and civil engineering works. The aim of this work is to assess the firm's activities from the standpoint of calculation of economic indicators and suggest improvements. The data analysed in the work cover the period of the last five years, and the values of the indicators are compared with the same indicators in a sample of comparable firms in the business.	en
