Cílem práce bylo charakterizovat obezitu jako velmi závažné metabolické onemocnění včetně způsobů jejího stanovení, výskytu, příčin, následků a možností léčby se zaměřením zejména na děti a dospívající mládež. Z provedené literární rešerše vyplývá, že obezita se stává velmi vážným zdravotním problémem i u dětí, přičemž včasná léčba představuje pouze úpravu stravovacích zvyklostí a zvýšení pohybové aktivity. |

The aim of the thesis was to describe obesity as serious metabolic illness including ways of its determination, prevalence, causations, consequences and methods of medication. We were interested in these problems primarily by children and teens. Literature search showed that prevalence of obesity rises by examination group of population whereas timely medication represents only modification feeding habits and increases of exercises. |
