Tato diplomová práce přináší do našeho povědomí izraelského fotografa Menahema Kahanu a jeho dílo. Díky jeho fotografiím se čtenář dozví mnohé o životě ultraortodoxních Židů, na které se Kahana zaměřuje v rámci svého projektu ?Haredim?. Vedle této duchovní tematiky se zaměříme také na problematiku izraelsko-palestinského konfliktu, vztahy lidí rozdílných náboženství v Izraeli a problémy, se kterými se tato militární země od svého vzniku potýká. Všechna tato témata budou představena prostřednictvím fotografií Menahema Kahany. Čtenář bude také seznámen s vývojem fotografie v zemi izraelské od počátku minulého století do současnosti, hlavně pak s problematikou fotožurnalistiky. |

This thesis brings to our awareness an Israeli photographer, Menahem Kahana and his work. Through his photographs, the reader learns much about life of ultra-orthodox Jews, to which Kahana focuses with his project called "Haredim". In addition to this spiritual theme we will focus on issues of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the relations of people of different religions in Israel and the problems that this military country has to deal with since its inception. All these topics will be presented by Menahem Kahana's photography. The reader will also be familiar with the development of photography in the land of Israel since the beginning of last century to the present, especially with the issues of photojournalism. |
