Diplomová práca popisuje rôzne prístupy výtvarných fotografov k abstrakcii. Snaží sa vysvetliť niektoré kľúčové pojmy, ktoré využíva teoretický diskurz pri popisovaní abstraktnej fotografie a dáva ich do súvislosti so štrukturalistickou teóriou znakov. Snaží sa poprieť mýtus objektívnej predmetnej fotografie na príkladoch konkrétnych autorov, ktorí zámerne tento konštrukt vyvracajú. Taktiež popisuje širší kontext výtvarných hnutí bezprostredne ovplyvňujúcich chápanie abstraktného obrazu vo fotografii a ilustruje jej vzťah k dobovej maľbe. |

This diploma paper describes various approaches towards abstract photography. It tries to explain some of the key terms, theoretical discourse uses in describing abstract photography In key terms of theoretical discourse it explains connections between structuralist theory of signs and abstract photography. It disclaim the myth of photography as an objective artistic representation using examples of specific authors, negating this myth in their artwork. Using general context of artistic movements it describes influences directly shifting paradigm of abstract depiction in photography in connection with contemporary painting. |
