dc.description.abstract	Táto diplomová práca sa zameriava na problematiku realizácie vizuálov hudobnej skupiny. V teoretickej časti detailne popisuje históriu vinylovej platne ako média, jej technické pozadie a kultúrny prínos. Ďalej rozoberá význam a technickú stránku hudobného albumu. V ďalšej časti sa sústredí na funkciu a kompetencie hudobných vydavateľstiev a ich vzťahov s interpretmi. Ponúka tiež náhľad do histórie grafického designu cez detailnejší rozbor významných designérov, ktorí sa preslávili albumovými obalmi. Taktiež približuje práce a rukopis súčasných vplyvných autorov. Praktická časť je zameraná na realizáciu diskografie a vizuálov pre fiktívnu hudobnú skupinu a skúma využitie súčasných foriem ilustrácie v kombinácií s grafickým designom.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of this thesis explores an execution possibilities of visual outputs for a music band. In theoretical part there´s a detailed description of vinyl record´s history as a medium, its technical background and cultural effects. It also describes a value and technical details of music album. In the next part it´s focused on exploring functions and competences of music labels and their relationships with musicians. It provides an insight into the history of graphic design through detailed analysis of famous album cover designers. There´s also a study of style and work of contemporary influential designers. Practical part is focused on project of visuals for fictional music band and explores the options of combining illustration with graphic design in contemporary context.
