Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na optimalizaci přepravních nákladů ve vybrané firmě. Úkolem bylo navrhnout vhodný optimalizační model, který by přispěl ke snížení přepravních nákladů rozměrných zásilek do zahraničí a následně by měl usnadnit práci zaměstnancům skladu, kteří mají expedice na starost. Návrh modelu bylo potřeba zpracovat do čtyř zemí - Francie, Německo, Rakousko a Itálie. Důvodem návrhu bylo to, že dvě přepravní společnosti účtují náklady na základě vyšší hmotnosti (skutečná X přepočtená). Dále je rozhodování ovlivněno konkrétní oblastí v dané zemi, délkou balíku, vybraným způsobem platby či uznáním a neuznáním reklamace. Jako nejvhodnější byl vybrán model prostřednictvím programu MS Excel. Význam této práce souvisí s navržením modelu, který je možné využít v praxi ke snížení nákladů u zásilek, které jsou expedovány do zahraničí. |

This diploma thesis is focused on optimization of transportation costs in the selected com-pany. The main task was design of a suitable optimization model. This model should help to reduce transportation costs for large consignments which are shipped abroad. The next reason is that this model should facilitate the work of employees who are responsible for consignment management. This model was aimed at four countries - France, Germany, Austria and Italy. Two transportation companies calculate costs based on higher weight (actual weight or recalculated weight). This is a main reason of this proposed solution. The other input restrictive conditions are specific area in the country, the length of the consign-ment, the selected method of payment or the recognition and non-recognition of the com-plaints. The optimization model in MS Excel was chosen as the most convenient. The im-portance of this thesis is related to the design of a suitable optimization model that can be used in practice to reduce transportation cost for large consignments which are shipped abroad. |
