Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je režim cílování inflace, na základě jeho užití ve vybrané vyspělé a rozvojové ekonomice. Teoretická část se zabývá vymezením pojmu centrální banky, cílem centrální banky a nástroji, pomocí kterých je daného cíle dosahováno. Následuje vymezení pojmu inflace a režimů měnových politik s hlavním zaměřením na zmíněný režim cílování inflace. Po představení vybraných ekonomik - České republiky a Rumunska v praktické části je proveden rozbor zpráv o inflaci pro každou ekonomiku od počátku zavedení cílování inflace až do roku 2020. Na základě zjištěných údajů je porovnáno plnění inflačního cíle včetně vhodnosti užití tohoto režimu měnové politiky v komparovaných ekonomikách. |

The main topic of this thesis is inflation targeting, based on its use in selected advanced and developing economies. The theoretical part deals with the definition of central bank, the aim of the central bank and the tools used to achieve the given aim. Following this is a definition of the concept of inflation and monetary policy regimes, with the focus on the inflation targeting regime. After presenting selected economies - the Czech Republic and Romania in the practical part, an analysis is performed of inflation reports for each economy from the beginning of the introduction of inflation targeting up until 2020. Based on the data, the fulfilment of the inflation target is analysed, including the appropriateness of the use of this monetary policy in these economies. |
