dc.description.abstract	Tato práce se věnuje problematice zvýšení finanční výkonnosti vybrané společnosti za pomoci využití metody benchmarkingu. Pro benchmarkingovou studii bylo zvoleno 8 firem podnikajících v nákladní autodopravě. Tyto společnosti jsou dle zákona č. 563/1991 Sb. o účetnictví klasifikovány jako středně velké společnosti. Podstatou práce je tedy porovnávání výsledků jednotlivých společností a následná identifikace té nejlepší společnosti a na základě získaných poznatků navrhnout opatření pro vybranou společnost, která povedou ke zvýšení finanční výkonnosti. Práci lze rozdělit na 2 části teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část zahrnuje literární rešerši na témata finanční výkonnosti, finanční analýzy a benchmarkingu. Praktická část je věnována finanční analýze. K této analýze jsou využívány tradiční, souhrnné i moderní ukazatele. Na závěr je vybrána nejlepší společnost a tato je pak srovnávána s vybranou společností. Této vybrané společnosti jsou pak navržena opatření pro zvýšení finanční výkonnosti.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis deals with the problem of increasing the financial performance of a selected company using the benchmarking method. For the benchmarking study 8 companies operating in the trucking industry were selected. These companies are classified as medium-sized companies according to Act No. 563/1991 Coll. on Accounting. Therefore, the essence of the work is to compare the results of individual companies and then identify the best company and, based on the findings, propose measures for the selected company that will lead to an increase in financial performance. The work can be divided into 2 parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part includes a literature search on the topics of financial performance, financial analysis and benchmarking. The practical part is devoted to financial analysis. Traditional, aggregate and modern ratios are used for this analysis. Finally, the best company is selected and then compared with the selected company. Measures are then proposed to the selected company to improve its financial performance.
