dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se věnuje dopadu vybraných investičních projektů na finanční výkonnost společnosti. Cílem je vyčíslit dopad těchto investic do zvolených měřítek finanční výkonnosti - rentability investovaného kapitálu a ekonomické přidané hodnoty. Teoretická část práce se zabývá investičním rozhodováním, metodám hodnocení investičních projektů a měřením finanční výkonnosti z tradičního i moderního pohledu. V praktické části je nejdříve stručně představena výrobní společnost, vybrané investice a vybrané výpočty, které společnost používá. Dále jsou vypočítány hodnoty ROCE a EVA a následně je nasimulován scénář, ve kterém společnost do vybraných projektů neinvestuje. Tímto postupem je dosaženo cíle práce - vyčíslení dopadu investic. Na závěr je popsáno spojení mezi dvěma společností používanými metodami - vnitřním výnosovým procentem a rentabilitou investovaného kapitálu.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis focuses on the impact of selected investment projects on the financial performance of a selected company. The aim is to quantify the impact of these investments on selected measures of financial performance - return on capital employed, and economic value added. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with investment decision-making, methods of investment projects evaluation and financial performance measurement from traditional and modern perspectives. In the practical part, the company, selected investments and selected calculation used by the company are first briefly introduced. Next, ROCE and EVA values are calculated and then a situation in which the company has not invested in the selected projects is simulated. This procedure achieves the aim of the thesis - to quantify the impact of these investments. Finally, the connection between the two methods used by the company - internal rate of return and return on capital employed - is described.
