dc.description.abstract	Tragické události 20. let 20. století, známé jako vraždy Osagů, výrazně ovlivnily původní obyvatele v Oklahomě. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá historií původních obyvatel Ameriky a osadníků, se zaměřením na ztrátu půdy a suverenity domorodých národů. Práce se dále věnuje historii, migraci a kultuře kmene Osage, jehož ekonomické bohatství, pocházející z ropného průmyslu, učinilo jeho členy terčem systematických vražd, což tvoří hlavní část této práce. Práce také zkoumá reakci vlády, odhalení korupce a následné federální reformy. Nakonec se zaměřuje na současnou situaci kmene Osage, přijetí jejich Ústavy v roce 2006 a pokračující boj domorodých komunit za spravedlnost.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The tragic events in the 1920s known as the Osage Murders greatly affected Native Americans in Oklahoma. This bachelor's thesis deals with the history of Native Americans and settlers, focusing on the loss of Native lands and sovereignty. It also looks at the history, migration, and culture of the Osage Nation, whose economic wealth, which came from oil, made them the targets of systematic murders, which is also the main part of this thesis. This work examines the government's reaction, the exposure of corruption, and the federal reforms. Finally, it looks at the Osage Nation today, their new Constitution from 2006, and the ongoing struggle of Native communities for justice.
