dc.description.abstract	Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit metody hodnocení výkonnosti firmy a vybrat nejvhodnější ukazatele pro měření výkonnosti ve firmě XY, spol. s r.o. Na základě provedených analýz identifikovat faktory ovlivňující výkonnost podniku a navrhnout využití vybraného konceptu pro měření a řízení výkonnosti firmy. V teoretické části jsem zhodnotila jednotlivé koncepty a ukazatele pro měření a řízení výkonnosti podniku. V praktické části jsem představila firmu XY, spol. s r.o. Pro zhodnocení výkonnosti podniku jsem v další části aplikovala vybrané klasické i moderní ukazatele měření výkonnosti podniku. Na základě zjištěných poznatků jsem navrhla využití ukazatele ekonomické přidané hodnoty a Balanced Scorecard jako vybraného konceptu pro měření a řízení výkonnosti ve firmě.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The main object of this master thesis is to compare methods for the measurement of performance in the company and choose the best indicators for firm XY, Ltd. The basic of this analysis is to identify the main factors which have a positive influence on the creation of value in the company and to choose the most favourable methods for the measuring and managing of the company. The first theoretical part includes theoretic analysis of financial data where indicators with optimal values of the company's are given. I comment the theory of new indicators which I have chosen such as indicators with the specific noticing ability. The introduction a basic description of firm XY, Ltd. is given. Following this is the main part of the work which is a concrete evaluation of the company's financial performance for the period 2004-2006. The evaluation is based on the application of the chosen indicators and I suggested steps which should help to increase the company's value. Based upon obtained results I have chosen EVA and Balanced Scorecard as the most favourable methods for the measuring and managing of the company.	en
