Bakalářská práce seznamuje s oblastí, problematikou konfigurace a architekturou WiFi sítí. Objasňuje problematiku potřeby licencí k provozování WiFi sítí pro domácí uživatele a pro poskytovatele telekomunikačních služeb. Prezentuje obecný model popisující problematiku komunikace počítačů v síti, kterým je síťový model Open System Inteconnection se zaměřením na transportní, síťovou a fyzickou vrstvu. Popisuje využití bezdrátové normy 802.11 v průmyslu komerční bezpečnosti. Součástí práce je vysvětlení principu funkce šifrovacího protokolu WEP a šifrovacích funkcí WPA, které jsou důležité k bezpečnosti bezdrátového spojení. Charakterizuje několik útoků na WiFi sítě, ochranu a nové trendy ve vývoji. |

The bachelor thesis introduces the area, issues of configuration and architecture of WiFi networks. It explains the problems of operation licences, which are necessary for home and telecommunication services usage. The thesis presents a common model describing the issues of communication among the computers in the net, which is the net model of Open System Interconnection with specialization for transport, network and physical layer. It describes the usage of the wireless standard 802.11 in the commercial security industry. The thesis includes the explanation of the functional principle of the encryption protocol WEP and the encryption functions of WPA, which are important for the security of the wireless connection. It defines a few attacks on WiFi networks, its safety and the new trends in the development. |
