Diplomová práce se zabývá kvalitou života seniorů, cílem je zjištění kvality života seniorů v přirozeném, domácím prostředí a v domovech pro seniory. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost stárnutí, stáří, kvalitě života, determinantům, jež tyto oblasti provázejí. Dále je zde zabýváno systémem sociální péče v oblasti seniorů. V praktické části je práce zaměřena na výsledky provedeného empirického šetření mezi seniory v přirozeném, domácím prostředí a v Domově pro seniory Vychodilova, Domově pro seniory Grand Residence Modřice. |

Thesis deals with the quality of life of seniors, the objective is to find out the quality of life of seniors in their natural, domestic environment and in retirement homes. The theoretic part is focused on age, aging, quality of life and determiners that accompany this fields. Followingly, is discussed the system of social care of seniors.
