dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce se zabývá zjišťováním, analýzou a porovnáním témat, která byla se seniory spojována v deníku Mladá fronta v osmdesátých letech dvacátého století a v deníku Mladá fronta Dnes v současnosti. Zabývá se zjišťováním frekvence výskytu těchto témat ve vybraném médiu v těchto obdobích. Její teoretický základ představuje popis působení médií na společnost, základní charakteristiku vybraných médií a společenských podmínek, ve kterých vycházely. Je vymezen pojem senior a nejčastější stereotypy spojované se seniory. Výzkumná část práce obsahuje popis zjištěných témat, údaje o četnosti článků na tato témata, o jejich rozsahu a umístění. Je provedeno porovnání mezi oběma zkoumanými obdobími.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This diploma thesis deals with the identification, analysis and comparison of the topics that have been associated with seniors in the daily newspaper Mlada fronta in the eighties of the twentieth century and in the daily newspaper Mlada fronta Dnes today. It deals with identification of the occurrence frequency of these topics in the selected media during these periods. Its theoretical base is a description of the impact of the media on society, the basic characteristics of selected media and social conditions in which they were published. It defined the term senior and the most common stereotypes associated with seniors. The research part contains a description of the identificated topics, information on the frequency of articles on these topics, their extent and location. A comparison is made between both researched periods.
