dc.description.abstract	Práce se zabývá možnou realizací videokonference v prostředí vysokorychlostní sítě Univerzity Tomáše Bati ve Zlíně. V teoretické části jsou popsány základní pojmy souvi-sející s multimédii, videokonferencemi a jejich přínosem pro moderní výuku. Praktická část zahrnuje analýzu hardwarových a softwarových prostředků nutných pro chod vi-deokonference. Dále výsledky testování konkrétního vybraného zařízení a manuál pro ovládání tohoto systému. Diplomová práce sloužila jako podklad pro zpracování projek-tu pro realizaci videokonference na UTB ve Zlíně, podaného letos v dubnu na Minister-stvo školství.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis deals with a possible implementation of videoconferencing in ultra-high spe-ed network at Tomas Bata University in Zlin. The theoretical part focuses on the description of basic terminology of multimedia, vi-deoconferencing, and their contribution to modern lecturing. The practical part involves an analysis of the hardware and software utilities necessary for proper running of videoconferences. Also inlcuded is a test of a particular device and a manual selected for this system. The thesis was intended as a basis for a project of videoconferencing implementation at TBU.	en
