dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce se zabývá aktuální problematikou související s komplikací nemoci diabetes mellitus, a to močovou inkontinencí žen a mužů. V první části jsou popsána teoretická východiska související s problematikou diabetes mellitus, inkontinence a vztahu mezi diabetem a inkontinencí. Nedílnou součástí je také zpracování literatury z oblasti kvality života. V praktické části byl proveden kvantitativní výzkum prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření realizovaného v ordinacích praktického lékaře, diabetologické ambulance nebo urologické ambulance. Cílem dotazníkového šetření bylo zjistit, zda existuje rozdíl mezi subjektivním vnímáním inkontinence a kvality života pacientů s diagnózou diabetes mellitus a bez této diagnózy. Na základě výsledků kvantitativního výzkumu s využitím dotazníku Overactive bladder questionnaire byl tento rozdíl prokázán.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis deals current issues related to the complication of the diabetes mellitus, namely urinary incontinence of the women and the men. The theoretical background related to diabetes mellitus, the incontinence and the relationship between the diabetes and the incontinence are described in the first part of the bachelor thesis. An integral part is also the literature review of the quality of life. In the framework of the practical section was processed the quantitative research as a questionnaire survey in the surgery of general practitioner, diabetological or urological clinic. The aim of the questionnaire survey was to find out whether there is the difference between the subjective perception of the incontinence and the quality of life of patients diagnosed with the diabetes mellitus and without this diagnosis. Based on the results of the quantitative research using the Overactive bladder questionnaire, this difference was demonstrated.
