dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce je zaměřena na aktuální téma stáří a stárnutí moderní společnosti. Popisuje jednotlivé aspekty charakterizující stáří v jeho průběhu a seznamuje se základními pojmy. Prochází historickým kontextem péče o seniory až do současnosti, kde uvádí celý výčet sociálních služeb využívaných především seniory, až po znovu objevený fenomén domácí péče. Stěžejní problematika se dotýká aktivit a trávení volného času v pozdním období stáří. Praktická část blíže specifikuje prostředí sociální pobytové služby Chráněné bydlení sv. Anežky. Seznamuje se zde realizovanými aktivitami pro seniory a zkoumá dopad na kvalitu života těchto obyvatel. Věnuje se potřebám seniorů a adaptací na tuto životní etapu.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The thesis is focused on the current topic of aging and age of modern society. It describes the various aspects characterizing progress of age and introduces the basic contcepts. It describes the historici kontext of care for the elderly until now, where the full variety of social services used especially by the elderly is listed, to the re-discovered phenomenon of home care. The fundamental issu relates to activities and leisure time in late age. Practical part specifies in detail the social enviroment of residential services "Sheltered Housing sv. Agnes". It introduces here created activities for seniors and examines the im-pact on the quality of life of these people. Dedicated to the needs of elderly and adapt to this life stage.
