dc.description.abstract	V diplomové práci s názvem Fenomén singles a životní spokojenost single žen a mužů se zabývám problematikou lidí žijících bez stálého partnera, přičemž se zaměřuji na jejich vnímání životní spokojenosti (well-being), na průběh této spokojenosti v čase a také na sociální oporu singles. Teoretická část obsahuje související demografické a sociologické údaje i poznatky z psychologie. Výzkum jsem zvolila kvalitativní, provedený metodou polostrukturovaného rozhovoru se čtrnácti respondenty se stejným zastoupením obou pohlaví, vzhledem k jejich věku se v práci orientuji především na období mladé dospělosti, osamostatňování mladých lidí i období střední dospělosti single jedinců. Výsledky výzkumu dále interpretuji v praktické části. V závěru uvádím doporučení pro případné další výzkumy.

dc.description.abstract-translated	In my diploma thesis entitled "Fenomén singles a životní spokojenost single žen a mužů" (A Phenomenon of the Singles and Life Satisfaction of the Single Women and Men) I have been involved in the issue of people living without a long-term partner, while I have been focusing on their perception of life satisfaction (well-being), time course of their satisfaction as well as social support to the singles. Theoretical part contains related demographic and sociological data completed with knowledge gained from psychology. I have decided to apply qualitative research, using a semi-structured interview with fourteen respondents with the identical representation of both genders. As regards their age in my thesis I have primarily focused on the period of the young adult stage, stage of becoming independent as well as the period of the middle adulthood of the singles. Furthermore, in the practical part I have been interpreting the research results. In the conclusion I have formulated recommendations for possible further research.
