Diplomová práce na téma ?Vliv alkoholismu na sociální vztahy jedince? se zabývá jedním z ožehavých problémů naší společnosti ? problematikou alkoholismu. Nejprve je v ní charakterizován alkohol, jeho historie, vlastnosti a působení alkoholu na organismus člověka. Dále je vymezen pojem ?alkoholismus?, rozebrány příčiny zneužívání alkoholu a závislosti na něm, projevy této závislosti a konečně i následky dlouhodobé závislosti na alkoholu (fyzické, psychické a spirituální). V základních ohledech jsou zde uvedeny i možnosti léčby alkoholismu. Pozornost je věnována i vztahu alkoholismu a sociálního okolí. Tato část práce rozebírá vliv alkoholismu na manželku (partnerku) alkoholika, na děti, jeho vliv v zaměstnání a na sociální vztahy. Zvláštní pozornost je zaměřena na sociální izolaci, k níž alkoholismus v některých případech může vést. Empirická část obsahuje výsledky výzkumu, který byl zaměřen na vliv alkoholismu na vznik bezdomovectví. Výzkum je přitom proveden jako regionální sonda zaměřená na město Břeclav. |

The thesis entitled ?The Effect of Alcoholism on Social Relations of Individuals? deals with one of the hot topics of our society ? that of alcoholism. In the introductory part, you will find the characteristics of alcohol, its history, properties and effect on human organism. Further on, there is a definition of ?alcoholism? and an analysis of the causes of alcohol abuse and addiction, its manifestations, and finally the consequences of long-lasting alcohol addiction (physical, mental and spiritual). The thesis describes basic aspects of alcoholism treatment and its possibilities. Attention is also given to the relationship between alcoholism and social environment. This part of the thesis analyses the effect of alcoholism on the addict's spouse (partner), children, work and social relations. Special attention is paid to social isolation to which alcoholism in some cases may lead. The empiric part shows the results of an inquiry focussed on the effect alcoholism has on the occurrence of homelessness. The inquiry was carried out in the form of a regional exploration targeted at the municipality of Břeclav. |
