Bakalářská práce mapuje problematiku stáří a stárnutí a zabývá se kvalitou života seniorů žijících v zařízeních sociálních služeb. Problematika stáří a života seniorů se v naší společnosti stává stále více diskutovaným tématem. V teoretické části je vymezen pojem stáří z hlediska vývojové psychologie a jsou zde popsány biologické, sociální a psychické změny, které doprovází stárnutí člověka. Jsou zde charakterizovány typy zařízení sociálních služeb, které byly zřízeny městem Mohelnice z důvodu usnadnit a zkvalitnit život seniorům. Praktická část se zabývá kvalitou života seniorů žijících v zařízeních sociálních služeb zřízených městem Mohelnice. Vyplývá z ní, že díky podpoře sociálních služeb vycházejících z individuálních potřeb jednotlivých seniorů může senior žít kvalitním a plnohodnotným životem i v zařízení sociálních služeb. |

The bachelor thesis deals with the question of old age, aging and the quality of life of older people living in social service facilities. The issue of old age and life of seniors in our society is becoming increasingly hot topic. The theoretical part defines the old age in terms of developmental psychology and describes biological, social and psychological changes that accompany human aging. It also characterizes types of social service facilities, which were established by the town of Mohelnice in order to improve and make easier the lives of seniors. The practical part deals with the quality of life of seniors living in social service facilities established by the town of Mohelnice. It shows that with the support of social services based on the individual needs of seniors, the senior can live a high-quality and full life even in the social service facilities. |
