dc.description.abstract	Diplomová práce Specifika života člověka s mentálním postižením a jejich řešení se zabývá fenoménem mentální retardace ? vymezením, klasifikací, psychologickou charakteristikou člověka s tímto postižením. Analyzuje problémy a popisuje řešení ve třech oblastech života člověka s mentální retardací ? vzdělávání, pracovní uplatnění a bydlení. Rovněž vymezuje sociální služby určené pro tyto osoby a srovnává ?ústavní péči? se samostatným životem. Empirická část se zabývá zjištěním, jakým způsobem vybrané sociální služby Slezské diakonie pomáhají lidem s mentální retardací kompenzovat nedostatky a řešit problémy způsobené tímto postižením, a jak podporují jejich začlenění do běžné společnosti.	cs

dc.description.abstract-translated	A thesis of The Specifics of human life with mental disability and their solutions is focused on the phenomenon of mental retardation ? definition, classification, psychological characteristics of a person with mental retardation ? education, employment and housing. It also defines the social services for these people and compares the ?institutional care? to independent living. The empirical part deals with finding the way how Silesian Diaconia by selected social services helps people with mental retardation to compensate for deficiencies and solve problems caused by this condition and how to support their integration into mainstream society of a person with this disability.
