Tato diplomová práce se zaměřuje na kvalitu života seniorů v domovech pro seniory a na kvalitu života starších lidí žijících ve svém domácím prostředí. Cílem práce je zhodnotit úroveň kvality služeb poskytovaných v domovech pro seniory a kvality života seniorů z hlediska spokojenosti mužů a žen žijících v těchto domech. Kvalita života je jev multidimenzionální a z hlediska jednotlivých seniorů velmi subjektivní a individuální pojem. To ovlivňuje řada faktorů, mezi které patří zdraví, životní styl, sociální prostředí, zdravotní péče, sociální služby, fyzická bezpečnost, bydlení a etické principy používané ve společnosti. Je potřeba udržovat kvalitu života na požadované úrovni, adaptovat se na změny ve společnosti, poznatky vědy a neustále hledat možnosti zlepšení Praktická část diplomové práce vychází z empirických dat získaných na základě dotazníkového šetření, částečněji obohacen o poznatky z cílených rozhovorů se seniory. Na základě takto získaných poznatků jsou analyzovány výsledky a verifikovány stanovené hypotézy. |

This diploma thesis deals with the quality of life of seniors living in the nursing homes as well as the quality of life of elderly persons living at their own homes. The main goal of this work is to evaluate the quality of services provided in nursing homes and the quality of life of seniors in terms of the sense of satisfaction of the men and women living here. The quality of life is a multidimensional phenomenon which is very subjective and individual. It is influenced by several factors like health, life style, social environment, medical care, social services, personal safety, housing and also ethical principles used in the society. The quality of senior?s life should meet certain reguirements which should reflect also the changes in the society as well as current level of scientific knowledge and it should have been constantly improved. The practical part of this diploma thesis is based on the processing of empirical data obtained from the survey and it is partly enriched with the findings from targeted interviews with seniors. On the basis of all these finding and of the results of data analysis preliminary hypothesis are verified. |
