Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou využívání sociálních služeb seniory. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny klíčové pojmy práce jako proces stárnutí, stáří, potřeby seniorů, problematika závislosti seniorů na pomoci druhých a nástroje sociální péče, zejména příspěvek na péči jako nový systémový prvek v této oblasti. Těžiště práce spočívá v její praktické části věnované zkoumání otázky, v jaké míře senioři, příjemci příspěvku na péči, ?nakupují? služby prostřednictvím sociálních institucí. Výzkum je prováděn mezi seniory kuřimského regionu. V jeho rámci je rovněž zkoumána otázka informovanosti a zájmu seniorů o sociální služby. Práce dále představuje Centrum sociálních služeb Kuřim jako poskytovatele pomoci ve složité životní situaci seniorů a pozornost věnuje rovněž roli sociálního pedagoga při řízení o příspěvku na péči. |

The submitted diploma thesis tackles the issues of social services intended for seniors. In the theoretical part the key terms such as the process of aging, the old age, needs of seniors, dependence of seniors on other people?s assistance and the instruments of social care, namely the contribution for care as a new system element in this field are defined. The core of the thesis lies in its practical part focusing on the question to what extent seniors, i.e. receivers of the contribution for care ?buy? social services through social institutions. The research is carried out among the seniors of the region of Kuřim. Within the research the knowledge of the system and the interest of seniors in social services are additionally dealt with. Further, the thesis presents the Social Service Centre of Kuřim as provider of social care in the difficult seniors? life situation and pays attention to the role of social pedagogue in the administrative proceedings concerning the contribution for care. |
