Bakalářská práce se zabývá kvalitou života seniora se sníženou mírou soběstačnosti v pobytovém zařízení sociální péče, snaží se najít odpověď na otázku kvality života a spokojenosti s touto alternativou rezidenční péče. Cílem je zhodnotit život seniorů v těchto zařízeních z pohledu jejich subjektivní spokojenosti a z hlediska možnosti poskytované péče. Teoretická část je věnována pojmu a procesu stárnutí a stáří, jeho historii, výzkumu stárnutí, kvalitě života v séniu a základní charakteristice služby domov pro seniory včetně popisu standardů kvality sociálních služeb. V praktické části jsou zpracovány výsledky řízeného rozhovoru s klienty domova pro seniory, které jsou následně interpretovány. V závěru jsou na základě poznatku z teoretické i praktické části formulováni návrhy pro praxi. |

The thesis deals with the quality of living of those seniors in an institution of social care who have lowered level of self-sufficiency. It tries to find an answer to the questions of quality of living and contentment of the seniors with this alternative to residential care. The aim of the paper is to overview the life of seniors in these institutions concerning the senior's feelings of contentment as well as the possibilities of care that is provided in the above mentioned institutions. The theoretical part deals with the concept and process of getting older and higher age, its history and research, with the quality of life in higher age as well as with the basic characteristic of the service ?senior house? including the description of standards of the social services' quality. In the practical part, there are the results from the structured interviews with the clients of several senior houses. Then, these results are explicated. In the conclusion, I offer several suggestions and recommendations for practical use. These suggestions regard the information from the theoretical and practical part. |
