Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám tématem kvalita života jedinců s demencí. Diplomová práce je především zaměřena na problematiku poslední životní etapy člověka - stáří, na demenci, na kvalitu života jedinců s demencí a na sociální služby, které jsou seniorům poskytovány. Detailněji pojednávám o možnostech aktivizace a osobním rozvoji seniorů s demencí. V práci uvádím 7 kazuistik, které jsou zaměřeny na osoby s demencí a Alzheimerovou chorobou. Výsledkem výzkumu diplomové práce je zjištění možností aktivizace a osobního rozvoje jedinců s demencí v rodinném prostředí a v sociálním zařízení. Pozornost je věnována zhodnocení vlivu aktivizace na kvalitu jejich životů. Diplomová práce umožňuje hlubší poznání a pochopení problematiky seniorů a demence. Je zaměřená na možnosti aktivizace seniorů s demencí, které souvisí s kvalitou jejich životů. Ukazuje také snahu Jihomoravského kraje a regionu Kyjovsko zabezpečit a zvýšit kvalitu sociálních služeb, které povedou ke zlepšení kvality života všech seniorů, nejen s demencí. |

My thesis deals with the theme of the quality of life of individuals suffering from dementia. The thesis focuses predominantly on the issues of the final stages of life of people - old age, dementia, quality of life of people suffering from senile dementia and social services provided to seniors. I write in detail on possibilities of activation and personal development of senior citizens with dementia. The thesis brings 7 casuistries focusing on persons with dementia and Alzheimer's disease. The thesis results in the finding of options of activation and personal development of people suffering from dementia in the familial environment and welfare facilities. Attention is paid to the evaluation of the influence of activation on the quality of their lives. The thesis enables deeper understanding and knowledge of the issues of senior citizens and dementia. It is focused on the options of activation of seniors with dementia which are related to the quality of their lives. It also points out the effort of the South-Moravian District and the Kyjov region to secure and increase the quality of social services leading to the improvement of life of all seniors, not only those suffering from dementia. |
